Earlier today but before the tournament of 64 officially tipped off, I “filled out” a bracket against my better judgement. I didn’t enter it in a pool or contest and probably won’t consult it until someone tears down the nets in Indy.
I’ve long since considered myself knowledgeable on the college game, and more importantly, I have zero faith (this year) in my team advancing beyond this weekend. Furthermore, there are more teams and coaches (note I don’t say school any longer) that I dislike to circle. The fun of filling out a bracket is to be a part of a pool-even if you don’t know spit about the teams or the sport. It’s meant to be social, a shared experience.
Back to my last post for a minute. I picked Wisconsin to win their first game but couldn’t be happier that High Point ousted them.
