It seems like every offseason a few free agents don’t sign on with teams until ST breaks, and this offseason is no different. Most notable among position players are Eugenio Suarez and Luis Arraez whose particular skill sets couldn’t be more different. Rumors of the former are more prevalent than the latter but neither appears close to signing.

For whatever reason it seems like pitchers hold out until after camps open-maybe teams do so for backup. If anyone has any guesses as to who among the following will sign first and with whom, I’d love to hear. Zac Gallen, Framber Valdez and Jose Quintana (who was a last-minute addition with Milwaukee). I also wonder if anyone will take a chance on Lucas Giolito.
