As one who isn’t currently signed up for the Marquis Network and Cubs telecasts this season, I’m curious to see how I consume regular season games from the comfort of Casa de Bob. I know fans in other cities have to figure out how they’ll do the same with their favorite teams as broadcast deals throughout the league are crumbling as I type.
I’m also not captive to streaming or multiple cable channels, but I’ll want to watch baseball this season as sure as Pepe Frias was the best known Pepe of the 20th century. It will take me months to figure which channel(s) have the rights to which days of the week. What i do know is that one of the best curators of MLB is returning to network coverage of the game. Bob Costas is back!

The dude loves and respects the game and won’t pull any punches in critiquing the goings on of the business and the state of the game as we approach a likely work stoppage. I figure he’ll be joined by various and sundry former ballplayers.
