Before I post about yesterday’s Brewers-Pirates game which I attended, the Brewers beat the Pirates 12-5 in winning their 12th straight game. As a result, Brewer fans and anyone else will get a free hamburger courtesy of George Webb.

Here’s a quick blurb from my friends as OnMilwaukee.com if you haven’t seen anything yet. The story has gotten some national press. What’s not being reported but has been discussed south of the Cheese Curtain (in Illinois) is the quality of the burger. I find it a case of sour grapes as most fans gobble up ballpark freebies like Pac Man and those little dots. George Webb used to offer burger deals when the team would score five or more runs in a victory. On one such trip north, I bit and lived to tell the story although it was a one-time experience.

What we know so far: Brewers win 12 and we get free George Webb burgers!
