Jazz Chisolm is one of the few current Yankees that I like, but his game 2 postgame comment was foolish and misguided. Thankfully for him Aaron Judge and Aaron Boone put the Royas 4-2 win in better perspective.
At the very least, the Yankees are the better paid team and may win the series and go on to win the World Series. But, and that’s a huge but, the Royals were not lucky last night. They pitched and played better and a proven WS champion hit a home run, and the Yankee greats did nada zip zilch.
I’ve included the entire text so as not to diminish the context of Chisholm’s claim. Is any lead in the postseason safe?
