After a couple of really unfortunate and curious injuries to Cubs pitchers, the front office has had to dig deeply for reinforcements. Excluding TJ surgeries, five pitchers on the 40-man roster are on the IL with various maladies.

Am I the only one questioning the vaunted Cubs pitching lab? I was never much of a lab guy in high school or college.
