If it seems like I haven’t posted in a while, it’s because I haven’t, but not for lack of thoughts on the upcoming season. I’m as ready as I’ve ever been although I haven’t finalized all of my division winners and WS champs. I do think the Braves and Orioles will be playing for the crown.

Because most of tomorrow’s starting pitchers are their team’s aces, I don’t expect any surprises there. One guy will probably throw 7 strong innings, but the name will be familiar.

It’s fun to track all of the games in real time and try and guess who accounted for 3 runs in the 5th inning. I know a handful of nobodies will get off to terrific starts and later revert to the back of their baseball cards. That shouldn’t take away from what they do on opening day.

Get a good night’s sleep as we’ve got 162 to go!
