One of the local papers highlights what to stream this week and as a non-streamer, I usually don’t pay too much attention to the details. However, like an astute reader, I almost jumped out of my socks when I espied one term in boldface.
A story about an astronaut’s solo mission to the edge of solar system is not what I hoped for when I saw “Spaceman.” Even though his career has been well documented over the years, I’d welcome any further updates about Bill “Spaceman” Lee and his post-MLB career.
Unless your name is Don Zimmer or Dick Williams, the carefree lefty, didn’t do anything to offend your baseball sensibilities. More likely if you ever saw him take the field, he entertained you.

I liked Bill Lee. Baseball and society in general were not ready for him back then. But I am still pissed off at him for throwing that blooper pitch to T Perez in the 1975 WS that got the Reds back into game 7. This was back when I didn’t hate the Red Sox
