By now, pitchers, catchers and all 17 assistant hitting coaches have reported to camps in Arizona and Floriday. For those of us who won’t see live action until the end of March (up north), February 14, is a wonderful day-maybe a flash back to our youth.
Topps released Series One of their (regular) 2024 baseball set on the 14th. With few exceptions, the players are depicted with their 2023 team and stats (on the back of course) and as of this posting, Joey Votto and Adam Wainwright‘s career numbers are on display. The proverbial, back of the baseball card, laying out full career stats.
Editor’s note: I have yet to purchase my first pack of the season. I won’t judge the set and or design until I hold a card and memorize Nico Hoerner’s career numbers.
While Topps doesn’t include league or team leaders in their standard sets, I look forward to finding the sets that do include those cards because I’ll have forgotten many of those names by the time All-Star break rolls around.
I’m linking to Topps’ site so you can view the current cards. Eventually, I’ll post on my first pack of the year and highlights.

I think they look really cool, but I’m a huge fan of neon lights.

Thanks for stopping by Gary. I think some look pretty good too, although some of the regular issues look a little dark to me-i.e DeLa Cruz, but not Acuna Jr.
