Do fans prefer when postseason series max out or are over quickly? I’m not worried about revenue generated by the league as it has no bearing on my bank account. Is the game better served by teams sweeping through and setting up their rotations for the next round? Or do fans enjoy seeing teams play the most games possible?

Is all of this contingent on whether you have a real interest in a team? Some teams and their fan bases do deserve to be put out of their misery though. I think some GM’s will look to model their woebegone teams after those playing in October. Yet, as we’ve seen in the past, not every team can replicate that magic.

We’ll see which LCS draws more eyes and national attention.
