Not every call-up is the ideal replacement for an injured star, and some teams seem to have an easier time than others when it comes to filling those positions. And maybe I have Astros fatigue, but who the heck are these guys?

I admit to paying way too much attention to 26-man rosters of teams I don’t particularly like, for selfish reasons, but I have never heard of several current Houston Astros. They all haven’t been all-stars, but a few have already played outsized roles.
