Times they are a changing

Forget what you may have read elsewhere, businesses want cash (again). More on more, smaller businesses are asking for cash so they don’t have to absorb the vig. It’s not just the little Greek hotdog stands, bigger operations are telling customers about the credit card fee that’s they’re expected to absorb.

I guess the corona-tainted cash thing was bogus after all. Incidentally, cash has been filthy for years, but fewer people have died from dirty money than watching the White Sox on Channel 44.

It’s funny how MLB has convinced everyone that playing with a credit card is so much better for everyone. How many ball clubs have lost money due to counterfeit bills? Yea, there’s no fraud with credit cards, right?

  1. Good post. I especially liked the shot at White Sox ratings on Channel 44. And how about being only on suburban radio, sone of it was FM only back the ? Those were dark days when Chicago nearly became a city with only one MLB team.
